The University- and Research Center in Tulln (Lower Austria) is a project of the government and will be opened at spring 2011.

iku^®windows will install 450 m² of triple glazed cover cap façade with integrated self-cleaning mechanism and shading. The two facades contain eight windows which will care for the flue of fume and heat. Die building is designed as an “H-block”. The iku^®windows facades are laterals of the central hall which connects the two main blocks.

Scientists of the Austrian University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna, will work there putting their focus on renewable resources, organic resources and organic based technologies. Additional scientists of the Austrian Institute of Technology will do their research there. About 15.000 m² will be used together.

The total investment amount of the project is about 56 Mio. Euro.
The University- and research has been developed by the Austrian project group “Architekt Podsedensek” , “Moser Architekten”  and “VAMED”  .
