iku^®windows founder and master mind Julius Thurnher, has been awarded with the Kaplan Medal for his extraordinary accomplishment besides further eight leading managers of renowned Austrian companies.

The jury of the chairmanship of the Austrian association of innovators & owners of patents (OPEV) - celebrating its centenary this year - selected the medalists.

The award took place in the Technical Museum of Vienna, which is 100 years old 2009 also. Its Managing Director has been honoured too.
